Querétaro, México

"Los acueductos" or the aquaducts were one of the city's most amazing features and were a unique characterization of one of the most charming cities in all of Mexico.

I had the opportunity of a lifetime to study abroad through Michigan State University and attend La Universidad Autónomo de Querétaro in the Spring of 2006 where I took 12 credits towards my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, which I will earn in the Spring of 2008.

Las Islas Galápagos, Ecuador

After I graduated from Michigan State University, I went to teach English in the Galapagos Islands for 4 weeks through a volunteer program that I discovered.

The islands are located 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador and hold some of the most amazing plants and animals in the world and of course, that I have ever seen.

It is where Charles Darwin formed his theory of Evolution. Many new plants and animals are discovered every year there still today!
